China's Generative AI Users Exceed 700 Million, Penetration Rate Exceeds 50%, Computing Power Increased by 177% in One Year
At the 7th China Internet Basic Resource Conference, CNNIC released the "Report on the Development of Generative Artificial Intelligence Applications (2026)". As of the first half of the year, China's generative AI users exceeded 700 million, with a penetration rate exceeding 50%, meaning about one out of every two adults uses it. Intelligent question answering is the most mainstream access method, with 76% of users using it to find answers; applications such as images, videos, and text processing are also widely concerned, and domestic computing power has entered the ten-thousand-card era.
